At its 36th edtion Arte Fiera Art First presents the best of modern and contemporary art and the more recent tendencies.

As for previous editions, Arte Fiera - Art First is not limited to the Fiera District Exhibition Center, but spreads in the whole city with a rich and interesting programme of events.

From 27th January to 26th February 2012, "Aboard the Heart of Gold", the 7th edition of the Bologna Art First curated by Julia Draganovic. Walking through Bologna's city centre, it is possible to discover 10 artistic sites, serious or ironic, which sometimes will provoke a critical thinking, and somentimes will just raise a smile. All works are exhibited during the opening days and hours of the host site.

On Saturday 28th January, from 8pm to 12am, the night lights up and contemporary art flows trough the ancient centre of the city, for the white night of Arte Fiera.
