This museum has been collecting over time numerous Roman finds from the archaeological area nearby, including black painted and earthenware sealed pottery, lanterns, glasses, funeral objects, pieces of columns, and floor mosaics. After having been closed for some time, some years ago it was opened again on the initiative of the Municipality and the Soprintendenza per i Beni Archeologici in agreement with the Diocese and is now housed in a new public building near the parish church. The museum is likely to collect other materials and finds resulting from the archaeological excavations still in progress in the area of the Compitum.
