The theatre was inaugurated in 1853 with the performance of Attila by Giuseppe Verdi, to whom the theatre was subsequently dedicated. In 1915 the painter Varoli renovated the decorations and painted famous authors, mythological figures and the three muses of painting, poetry and music. The Theater, restored recently, has been reopened to the public and most of Fiorenzuola dArdas prose season is performed here.
The regular hall gives access to the horseshoe-plan-stalls, dress circle, upper circle, balcony and gallery.
